The forecasters predicted rain moving through in a front that would take us from warmth down to seasonal, cooler temps. They also said the rain would likely come after 3 PM. Since it's winter, I prefer keeping at least a half-tank of gas in the car. Monday and Tuesday were very cold, so even though the gas prices were good (in the $1.60s!), I decided to wait until today. I'm low on gas. I went to band last night--not the brightest idea, but it got me out of the house--and saw that one of the gas stations on the way had gas for the low, low price of $1.53. About a month ago, I attempted to get my car washed. It was a big fat failure. That had been during a rare above-freezing window in February; the rest of the month was too cold to really attempt it.
